The founder of the industrial group, OULAD KOUIDER Haj,  during the years 50-60 he was at the head of the company RBTOK, specialized in the transport of goods and fuels in the south of Algeria with a park made exclusively of Berliet manufactured in the plant of Rouiba (Algiers).

Developing a know-how in the field of mechanics (technicians trained at Berliet France) and aware of the importance of cooling trucks in hot areas, the group CEO decided to create the company SONERAS for the manufacture of radiator in 1969.

With the development of its know-how in the field of boilermaking, metal construction and proficiency of the automotive spare parts market, it developed car exhaust systems in 1987 in its workshops; OKI was created in 1992 to take charge of this business.

Passed away in 2010, the founder of the group leaves behind two generations, his son Mustapha who joined the company in 1978 and his grandson Mehdi, who contribute to the development of the group.
